Join us at the February FEW program when Joel Ackerman will present "Emerging Ways to Support Local and Remote Family Caregivers."

With the Age Wave (i.e., “Silver Tsunami”) now upon us, many more people than ever before are becoming “caregivers” for parents or other seniors.  Fortunately, advances in technologies and services are creating new opportunities for effective and even remote caregiving, thereby enabling supportive caregiving from your own home, your workplace or anywhere.  Additionally, remote relatives and friends can now share in the caregiving load.  This presentation will address some of the newer tools, technologies, and services available to family caregivers, often at little or no cost.

We will be at the Le St-Germain Suite Hotel (formerly the Radisson) from 11:30 to 1:00 on Wednesday, February 8th.

Note: There is ample free parking in in the hotel lot - the entrance is right in front of the front door. There is no cost for members and guests pay an early-bird rate of just $20.  See map below.
